The Birth of the Dolls

This spectacle is presented as a comic strip, showing a series of little scenes that tell the story of the "birth of the dolls" in the workshops of Father Christmas. Effel added numerous notes and followed the fabrication of the automatons with the utmost fidelity.

This scene was shown in the Galeries Lafayette in 1950.
